It’s funny because he had to choose, and he chose Jesus instead of the girl.

#7 is funny, and reminds me of a story!

I remember once I was sitting next to one of my guy friends in church (don’t worry we were in a group of 6), and the pastor tells us to pray while holding hands or with arms over people’s shoulder. Turns out, the side he was on is the side closest to the arm that can’t life itself properly (been a thing since I was born) so we held hands, and one other friend looks at us funny, so we stop and his arm is over me (and we give each other the they are so immature look), and I can’t put it back, because of the arm thing.
So a friend I haven’t seen for a while asks us this:
    Are you dating?
And we were all like, nope, that is kinda awkward, we are only 13. Then he told us about the whole not dating till he is 18.
Then a couple months later he has a crush on the girl who asks us the question.

4 was grammatically incorrect, but other than that I thoroughly enjoyed these. 🙂

Lots of those meme thingies do have horrible grammar. People think it’s cute to type like “gangstas” talk. (And no. It’s not cute. It’s very far from cute. It’s one thing to talk that way: that’s dialect. But unless you’re writing dialog, USE PROPER GRAMMAR FOR CRYING OUT LOUD.)

Not to be rude or anything, but they’re not talking that way to be “cute,” it’s written that way because its supposed to be funny. And some people actually do speak in slang because that’s just the area they grew up in. It’s a dialect in its own, and maybe the person who made the memes if familiar with it, and grew up around it.
