3 Fun Prom After-Party Ideas!

The dress has been bought, the date is confirmed and the pre-dance dinner is reserved. Missing anything? Maybe not, unless you’re hoping to continue the fun once prom itself has ended (or once you’ve just decided you’ve danced enough already!). After-prom parties aren’t mandatory, but they can be a super-fun way to continue the night with your girlfriends! If you’re interested, we’ve got three after-prom ideas to keep the good times rollin’….

This one is a little obvious, but so much can be done here! Gather all of your besties over at your place (or one of theirs), change into pj’s and plan a night of fun. You can do some beauty treatments, watch movies or gab all night about the events of prom—whatever you do, it’ll be the icing on the cake of a great night.

Plan an after-prom stop at your favorite diner. If you aren’t that hungry, you can always just get dessert. This is a great way to wind down after all those hours of dancing, mingling and making the rounds. Not exhausted yet and want to do something extra fun? If it’s not too late, consider going bowling with your group!

Love board games? After the dance, invite your group over and tell them to bring their favorite board games. (If you want to make sure you don’t have 10 of the same game, ask them to tell you what they’re bringing beforehand or sign up on a shared Google doc!) Order some pizzas and get to gaming!

Girls, what are your after-prom plans? Which of the above are your favorite ideas? Tell us your thoughts and your own awesome brainstorms for after-prom in the comments below!
