Women of strength know where they’re from and where they’re headed. This sense of purpose drives everything they do. For Christian women, their drive and ambition are rooted in God’s will for their lives. His intentions guide our decisions.⠀

Driven women are not outside the bounds of Scripture. God uses them every day. But we must remember that ambition is only God-honoring when our ambitions start with Him. Set your goals, dream big dreams—and keep Christ central to your mission. This is the way to honor God with your drive.⠀

Our work, our homes and our relationships all start with our call to love the Lord with all our being. (Save me for later!)⠀

You are raised up to reveal His glory (Exodus 9:16). This verse was originally spoken to Israel, but after Jesus came to earth, we were grafted into God’s purpose and promise. Our purpose is like Israel’s always was: to be raised up and reveal His glory. We are a “city on a hill” (Matthew 5:14). We showcase the gospel through our lives as we follow Jesus.⠀

As we serve God through any form of work, He is glorified. It doesn’t matter how big or small the task. God has called us to be a witness of his love and care for those around us. And that makes an impact for God’s kingdom.⠀

Many of us may not be physically attending church

Many of us may not be physically attending church right now but that doesn't mean we've stopped being the church. 🙌⠀

Now is the perfect time for the church to really shine the light of Jesus. Check on your neighbors. Call up a friend or family member that you know is going through a hard time. Buy a coffee for a nurse or doctor. Pray for others.⠀

We want to practice empathy, show care and concern and compassion, and lead others to the One Who does have it all together- especially when we feel like we don't. Share how Christ helps you through your own troubles, and others will be better able to trust Him to do the same for theirs.⠀

In this rare time in history, there is no end to the number of ways in which you can shine the light of Christ to others. Pray and ask God to use you to bless others and point them to Him in this time. And then just watch for the doors that He will open!⠀

Trusting God is essential because it is by depending on Him that we receive the peace, joy and strength to endure whatever life gives us. His presence is our peace. He is the most trustworthy being we could ever find, truly an anchor for our souls.⠀

It is not enough to know God loves us; we must also believe it. When we truly believe that God loves us and live in that love, the presence of God resides with us no matter how distant He feels.⠀

How we remain anchored in this life is by walking in the spirit and also by knowing that God’s promises are yes and amen in Christ. God is a covenant-keeping God. If we remain in Christ and don’t lose hope, then we will reap the harvest and obtain the promises of the Lord.⠀

God is our source of peace. He is our peacemaker a

God is our source of peace. He is our peacemaker and our healer. (Save this encouragement for later!)

He wants us to seek Him both in our times of triumph but also in our times of worry. If you are having a hard time finding a sense of peace these days, know you’re not alone. The world can feel upside down. It’s important to remember that it’s okay to feel out of sorts, but continue to seek God no matter what.

Jesus reminds us in John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid,”

Not only is Jesus our source of peace and our ultimate comforter but He is also our friend. Genesis 1:27 points out that we were created in God’s image, and then in John 3:16, we are reminded that Jesus wants to have a personal relationship with us.

Leave your worries in God's sovereign hands. Pray to Him. Let Him know your true feelings. He is waiting for us to draw near to Him, all we have to do is talk to Him and open our lives to Him.

Healthy relationships are built upon spending time together. This includes our time with God! It can be hard to get quiet nowadays. There’s always notifications, text messages to read or thoughts swirling through our brains. But sometimes we hear God best in silence.⠀

So turn off, unplug and take some time in silence before God. You could choose a verse of scripture to focus your mind on during that time. You may even want to set a timer and start with just one minute of silence each day.⠀

When we surrender our plans to His sovereignty, we can rest in knowing all things are in His hands. The key to faith is trusting in who God is, not in your circumstances. The only stable, unchanging factor in this world is God Himself because He is not of this world! God has the power to satisfy us from here to eternity.⠀

The truth is that, emotions change constantly- including how we sometimes feel about ourselves. Yet that never changes how God feels about you. His faithfulness is based on who He is and His promises for you is based on His word.⠀
⠀
He chose you and His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:23).⠀
In a world where it can feel as if love and approval has to be earned, there's nothing you must do to earn His love. Grace is a gift that is freely given.⠀
⠀
By trusting that the Lord knows our needs better than we do, we find satisfaction through our faith in His love. So if nothing around you seems to be adding up, rest in this truth. There may come times where it feels like God is all you have and you'll soon find that He is all you need.

Today we want to take the time to lift up those who have lost on 9/11 with love and support.⠀

Witnessing collective tragedy is something that affects everyone. Romans 12:15 tell us to "mourn with those who mourn". One of the beautiful things about mourning together is that it also gives us the strength to heal together and hopefully unite toward the future.⠀
⠀
As believers, we can look forward to the day that God makes all things new and heals the sorrow of this world (Romans 12:15)! We still have this great hope in His everlasting promises. In the meantime, may we surround each other and our nation with extra love and prayer on harder days like 9/11.⠀

You may be waiting to have peace about something,

You may be waiting to have peace about something, but many times peace comes with obedience.⠀

You don’t need to have everything perfectly planned out to begin doing something He’s told you to do- even if it starts with small steps. Once you decide to say yes to God, the peace that surpasses all understanding will be made available to you!⠀
⠀
This is the confidence we get to have knowing that when we're walking with God, we don't have to have it all figured out- because He is constantly ordering our steps. No matter where you are, it has all been worked into his plan and He will use every part of your journey for His glory!⠀
