5 New Year’s Party Dresses That Sparkle…Plus 7 of My Favorite New Year’s Looks!

Do you have a New Year’s party to attend but nothing to wear? How about something sparkly?

I just love sparkles, so I’ve selected some adorable sequin dresses. I hope you love them as much as I do! You could sparkle your way into 2013 with any of these styles!

    sequin-dress

This is a simple sleeveless sequined dress. I love the modest round neckline and how the fitted bodice transitions into a loose skirt with a sparkly sheer overlay.

    Spaghetti-Straps-Lace-Up-Sequin

You will totally look pretty in this pink dress! It features spaghetti straps, a sparkly bodice, a satin waist and a tulle skirt. It looks like a dancer’s dress.

    gold-dress

Ooooh, I love, love, love sparkly gold! And this adorable dress has ruffled organza peeking out from under the skirt.

    sequin-black

This gorgeous black strapless dress is overlaid with a black sheer fabric sprinkled with gold sparkles. I so love the high waist with satin belt! Chic!

    apple-green

I adore this apple green dress! It features black tulle under and over the skirt. The sparkles are at the top and are contrasted and complemented with satin below.

If you live in a cold climate, you can cover up any of these styles with a gorgeous shawl, bolero jacket or formal cardigan. Need some more inspiration? Check out seven of my favorite looks for New Year’s Eve!

If you like to be super casual, then wear a simple sweatshirt with some sparkles on it! That way you will stay comfortable all night long! Sweatshirt from F21.

If you want to wear jeans, a popular style shirt is the peplum trend, so wear a shimmery color to go with your jeans! Top from F21.

I love sweater dresses, and so when I saw this in black I knew I could wear it a lot. To stay extra warm and to make sure it’s modest, wear a sweater dress over black leggings! Leggings F21, and dress from Marshall’s.

    Nicole New Years look 4

I love the mint green color, and also this style of dress, that kind of poofs out at the bottom with tulle underneath. This dress is from Windsor, and necklace from F21.

    Nicole New years look 5

For a modest and elegant look, wear a sparkly top with a black skirt! Just make sure the skirt is long enough so when you sit down it’s still modest!

    Nicole New years look 6

I really like the combination of black and white, it’s classic and will never go out of style. My top is from H&M.

A dress in all gold definitely says “New Years Eve,” but is a bit flashy if you’re on the more conservative side.

Out of all of these outfits, would you wear any? And if so, what is your favorite? Lastly, which one should I wear?

Happy New Year’s, Project Inspired girls, make sure to stay safe and warm! I love you all! xoxo Nicole

    1. I like the 4th dress, the gold sparkley black one with the black bow on the waist. I also think you should wear either the black sweater dress with the black leggings, the white top and the black flowing skirt, or the sleeveless forever 21 shimmery silver shirt with the blue jeans. You look good in every single one of those outfits you showed on here Nicole!

    2. I love dresses four and five. Also the gold sparkle top and black skirt outfit is amazing! I would love to wear the green dress I mentioned, but for this cookie party my family is having, I have this ADORABLE brown and tanish white striped dresswhich fits to my body, it’s kind of short, but I wear these nice brown leggings and a brown long sweater that ties over- creating a somewhat empire waste for the dress. It comes together so well. 🙂 I love these dresses tho- im a huge dress person, so yeah.. 😀

    3. You should wear that gorgeous mint-green dress!! But of all of them, the sparkly pink dress is calling my name! I LOVE it! <3 I don't usually go out for New Years Eve (I spend it with close family & friends at home) but I would DEFINITELY wear it to a party 🙂

    4. Hey Nicole! I love the patterns and colors of the dresses! I was wondering if you could do some articles like this with dresses that come below the knee. It is very hard to find modest, yet stylish dresses and skirts that come below the knee, and I would love it if you could share some of your favorite outfits in this style. Thanks!

    5. I love the strapless black dress with the gold sequins! It’s totally my style! Of your looks, my favorite is the black skirt with the sparkly gold top. You look so pretty in it and the ponytail makes it fun 🙂

    6. THEY ARE ALL SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THEY ARE THE BEAUTIFULEST DRESSES I’VE EVERE SEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:d :d :d :d :d :d :d :d

    7. gold modcloth one is gorgeous but i love modcloth so maybe im biased. the mint and lace is also quite lovely. the black sequins with leggings is probably the most mature looking. i hopeyou have a wonderful new years.

    8. i love ur sense of fashion Nicole, it’s so awesome and u always look amazing and beautiful and i’m surprised u can do that while still following ur own style and portraying that modest is hottest!
