7 Back-to-School Hacks To Help Get Your Life Together This Year

The struggle of staying organized and structured through the school year is a real one. Whether you’re headed back to campus or staying remote for your schooling, staying organized can really help you succeed.

That’s why we had to pass on these seven simple back-to-school hacks we love that we think will help you get ahead of the madness.

    1. Organize flashcards topically to help you grasp the study material a bit easier.

    2. Imagine knowing exactly where everything is. I know, wild. Consider labeling clear containers to organize everything and eliminate the frustration of searching for materials when you need them!

    5. Bring back the Cornell note system to help you understand the breakdown of your class material.

First post ever on note taking systems! ~ This is the Cornell note taking system originally invented for taking notes during a lecture I enjoy using these as very organised and concise notes. As you can see the page is divided into 3 sections first is the one to the left: the cue column, the right column: the actual notes and the bottom labelled summary. Questions and keywords in the cue column help to stimulate thought and make connections easily, helping bring out information efficiently during exams which is extremely helpful in content heavy subjects. ~ The right column is notes as usual. The summary section helps students have a brief summary to read before exams as quick revision, the need to understand the content before summarising in increases the amount of information retained. ~ Overall, this system provides an organised way of looking at notes that won’t overwhelm you during revision. ~ If you’ve tried this out and want to share your experiences please leave a comment! Questions asked will be answered as always! ~ What I usually use this system for: Science, English, History ~ #notes #studynotes #notetaking #notetakingtips #studygram #study #notesgram #cornellnotesystem #notetakingskills #notetakinggoals #notetakingideas
