This year, C (founder of Project Inspired) and I attended the annual Generosity.org water charity gala in Beverly Hills on World Water Day 2017. The gala was in celebration of the 10-year anniversary of the Generosity.org foundation. The blue-carpet celebrity event was hosted by Phillip Wagner (the pastor of Oasis Church in Los Angeles and founder of Generosity Water) and Anjelah Johnson. The event featured Grammy-winning singer Jordin Sparks and American Idol‘s Pia Toscano, along with singers Kate Flannery and Tim Davis. There were also appearances by award-winning TV/film producer DeVon Franklin and actress Meagan Good (authors of The Wait) and actress Jane Lynch.
The charity has helped more than 450,000 people and has funded over 778 projects, according to their official website. A Night of Generosity 2017 was filled with amazing performances by talented artists. Not only was this evening inspiring because of what the charity raised funds for, but also Nicole Weider’s book Into the Light was in the celebrity gift bags! This was so awesome and an answer to prayer, as Nicole has been wanting to continue to share her testimony of how she came out of the darkness of Hollywood into God’s amazing light.

If you would like to support the wonderful cause of Generosity Water, go to generosity.org or go to generositywater.com to order their water bottles that fund water wells in Africa. According to Generosity’s official website: “There are currently 663 million people in the world that do not have access to clean drinking water, and each year this crisis kills more people than war, AIDS and famine combined.”
