I never wear much makeup, but I never leave the house without a little it of mascara, and usually blush. It’s easy to put on and I like how it looks. I wouldn’t die if someone saw me without makeup, but I do like to wear it basically everywhere. Every now and then I wear really light eye shadow. I sometimes wish I could be like girls who wear all this makeup and look good, but I also think it’s important to understand that God made you just the way you are, and there’s no reason to cover up what He made.
I feel like I’m really lucky because I’m home-schooled mostly, so there’s less pressure to look a certain way. I like to enhance what God gave me, not cover up every evidence of what my creator made me to be.
My hair IS naturally curly. In this picture I have a little product in it to make it curl more evenly, but I usually don’t bother. I really like my hair (most days), but I do straighten it at times. I also really like my eyes. I think they’re a really pretty color, and my eyelashes are pretty long. I feel comfortable in my skin, and that’s what’s important.

    1. You’re so pretty! I love your hair and how your eyes shine! I am homeschooled, too and it is such a blessing to not have all the pressure of having to look ‘perfect.’ I feel so much better about how I look now. God bless you, sister in Christ!
