Anti-Cosmo Video: The Khloe Kardashian Issue Is “The Sex Issue”

The May issue of Cosmo is the “sex issue”–how is that different from usual?! It’s more of the same trash that preys on young girls’ insecurities, and I need your help to get Cosmo sold in a non-transparent wrapper to adults only! Click here to sign my petition and make a difference!

The good news? We had a major victory this past month–watch my video to learn more!

God is on our side, girls, and it’s only a matter of time before we succeed!

I have this friend who has sex with every boyfriend she has just to gain his love. One of her past boyfriends said he wouldn’t say he loved her, so she just kept having sex with him to gain approval! Then they broke up. My mom said he was using her as “practice” before finding someone he wants as a wife, which is absolutely awful. Please pray for my friend. She’s Jewish and really needs Jesus!!

I have actually written for several Asian publications and I have to admit that their content is almost similar to Cosmo and the like. Whenever I interview people, I want to capture the real person and who they are instead of this robotic public figure. I am proud of you Nicole at what you are doing. The only reason why I have stopped interviewing people was because I was sick and tired of capturing a false personality. I haven’t been inspired to write until I came to Christ… Amen.

I haven’t watched television in a long while either because they are boring with the cliche plot. Same goes with the books I have read. I can go on and on… But once I have that Bible in my hands, no other book brings me to life, only the Bible. And what I find funny about our scholarly journals, magazines and all these advise columns is that God already gave us the knowledge. God already gave us the advise we needed to stay firm in our word. I did a little research in Psychology and it turns out that the word PSYCH in Greek is SOUL. Soul equals emotion. Psychology is the study of human emotions. Isn’t that amazing. God was basically laughing these scholars the whole time because it took them years to find an answer when it was written in the original Hebrew language thousands of years ago. Amen…….!

Nicole be careful. i was looking at comments on your video’s on youtube, and there are a lot of people who think you’re not doing this because you’re trying to help young girls. and i would reply to them, but my parents always tell me if you have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything. and i hope you can protect yourself from the devil’s tricks, because he’s using this as a way to trying to get you to stop, may God bless and protect you. keep fighting, cause we will get this harmful mateiral in a non-transparent wrapper.

oh wow really? That’s so lame. People have nothing better to do than try to take down others that are trying to do a good thing and change society! Thanks for the heads up I’ll go look now.

Cosmo Magazine is the devils way of reaching women. He grabbed ahold of sex and he is destroying Gods creation with the filth that he has used to pervert Gods gift. Lucifer found something that worked for him and he will not let it go with out a fight. We are Gods daughters and we are called to action. Please sign this petition and take I know I and all the people in my youth group are. Stay strong my sisters. REPRESENT

why are they calling it the “sex issue”? Every issue has a reference to sex. It makes me sick.

Even the website made me sick! it has absolutely NO age restrictions. On the main page, they don’t try to censor anything, or warn the age limit. I don’t live in the USA so I can’t sign the petition, but if I could; I would. Good luck nicole!

every time i see one of these,my heart drops for those who have fallen for Cosmo’s tricks. it’s sad,and one these days,a young 14,15,16,or 17 year old girl will be heart broken by a guy whom they thought loved them,or even worse, they will be left pregnant with no support. and i can only imangine all of the abortions (i am pro-life,which is why i say this),which is another issue all together, but it’s just as bad if not, worse then Cosmo. its not good,an it’s great that we have people like Nicole that are taking a stand for young girls and our protection. i see Cosmo magizine at the grocery store, and i get a sick feeling in my stomach and i feel like i’ll throw up if i look at it for more then a minutte! it’s sick. just sick!

Next Tuesday I will be making a speech in front of a few classes about this issue. In the speech I practically beg the audience to sign this petition and I back myself up with tons of evidence. I’m going to have it recorded and email it to your team so you can see it. I really hope it makes an impact because a lot of people are going to be watching it.

What are your thoughts on the cross and the words Jesus and God on accessories? I like it and I dont. It’s like anything Christian like is “in” or “coming back” in the WRONG ways. Seriously, non-Christians wear it cause “it looks good” and “it goes with my outfit” etc. On youtube when you watch hauls and the person got a cross necklace but, they dont belive in God and they say “Oh I like it cause its in”!

In walmart I saw the word Jesus on a pair of undergarments!

Yeah everyone has their own taste but I really dont like this trend at ALL since its being diplayed in the wrong ways.

I wanna hear everyone else thoughts on this

Do you like or hate the new trend?

What about the children modeling agency at Cosmo I have been asked to model for the kids Cosmopolitan modeling agency?

      Posted by pinkpenguin318 on June 19, 2012 at 19:46

I wouldn’t model for kid Cosmo in a billion years. One, no one reads it so you wouldn’t get that much publicity, not like models names are featured anyways. And two, “kid cosmo” is to “adult” cosmo as TeenVogue is to Vogue. Does that paint a good picture in your head?

I am absolutely positive that they aren’t even talking about the mental, physical & emotional issues regarding sex that girls face. All they are probally talking about why he dosen’t like it or want it from you anymore.

Seriously thank you for noticing how evil this is and i want to thank you for standing up for young girls. i’ll pray for you and keep up the good work, as christian we should not stay quite while satan is deceiving young people, he”s asking for a fight and will give him one.

Yesterday in English class we were analyzing modern and historical advertising (we are reading Animal Farm and talking about propaganda) and we looked at an ad for Cosmo. My teacher (a man) started laughing and when we asked him why he said “If I see a woman reading Cosmo, I just think she’s stupid.” It was kind of an odd comment, but it shows that Cosmo is not cool at all.

I totally agree with you. I think it’s absolutely horrible that they are selling this to minors. I mean, there’s little kids going, “Mommy, what’s sex?” at age 4, and the mom has to tell them that it’s just something on the magazine, and maybe the kid keeps bothering the mom about it until she gives in and tells them about it.
I dont think that children should be exposed to these things this early. They should be able to be innocent and not know anything about sexual things.
I truly support you, Nicole. I signed your petition a while ago and I got a letter from the chairman of Cosmo Magazine(it was basically just a copy and paste letter with my name printed on the front) that said that they dont accept just one person signing a petition. I thought, “If we get enough of us together, we’ll be unstoppable!” 🙂 We can do this!

You are so right Nicole, we are better than that! I often wonder if more guys would act like gentlemen if more girls were willing to act like ladies. Girls should not be giving themselves up so easily and that is just what Cosmo is telling us to do! And people are willing to PAY for a magazine to tell us this filth?! This is so wrong, thank you for fighting this Nicole! I’m praying for ya! <3

    Posted by Dancer16 on May 3, 2012 at 11:21

The sex issue??? That’s what it’s always about!! I really don’t understand how they still allow this to be sold to minors… I mean, it shouldn’t be sold to anyone, but at least we have laws about what can’t be sold to kids! And those laws should be stopping cosmo!
Keep up the good work Nicole, I’m praying for you and this whole mission! 🙂

I read a comment from a man on an article once that was something like, “If she’s using Cosmopolitan Magazine to get relationship advice, she will die a bitter, single old lady like the rest of the women that read that garbage.” While it was quite harsh, it also proves that even men find Cosmo to be ridiculous and women/girls don’t need it to find a man.
