Are You Guarding Your Heart? [VIDEO]

Hey sweet girls! PI is focusing on purity this month. Remaining pure is not an easy thing to achieve in the world we live in today, especially when so many aspects of our lives are sexualized. From clothing to entertainment and even in our schools, sex and being sexy are held in high regard.

Movies and television shows make it look like it’s cool to be sexy. Fashion and friends often push us to be more sexual. So while Christians are called to be pure, the world seems to be promoting the opposite. Now what?

The following clip discusses the importance of purity in such a hyper-sexual society.

God knows that we’re surrounded by temptations when we choose to be a part of a world that pulls us away from His Word. But He also told us that we would never face a temptation that we couldn’t overcome without His help.

Ladies, I pray that you guard your heart. It won’t be easy, but you can do it with Christ’s help. The best way to do so? Fill your heart with Christ.

Do you find it difficult to guard your heart? Do you feel that society makes it difficult to remain pure? In what ways?

    1. My school is so sexualized. It’s annoying because there is only one Christian that I know of in my class. Even my teacher, I don’t think she’s a Christian. Although only God knows that.
