Bethel’s Heaven Come Conference 2017 in Los Angeles

Many of you may have heard of Bethel Church in Redding, California, or may have heard of Bethel music. There was a recent conference in Los Angeles with Bethel, and there were some worship leaders from Hillsong Church (Brooke Ligertwood, Joel Houston and Carl Lentz, pastor of NYC Hillsong). The event was held in the heart of downtown Los Angeles at the Microsoft Theater on September 21-23, 2017.

I had the honor and privilege of attending the conference, which was a collective of many people in worship and community. There were workshops, sermons and teaching, and there was also an opportunity for people to get prayer. I would love to share some photos and videos with you as a recap of the beautiful weekend.

You have to do something in me so that when people encounter me, they encounter You.” —Pastor Bill Johnson

The co-founder and senior pastor of Bethel Church in Redding are Bill and Beni Johnson; the co-founders and directors of the church are Kris and Kathy Vallotton; and the deans of the ministry are Dann and Christie Farrelly. The conference was created to equip and empower the local church to keep spreading the Gospel, to be refueled and refreshed in worship, and to refocus for the next season of life. The conference was over-the-top encouraging and informative, reminding us to keep our eyes out for the one. Jesus seeks after the lost sheep, the one out of the 99. What a weekend to remember! We prayed over the City of Los Angeles, and Amanda Cook, a worship leader from the Bethel team, sat at the piano at one point and sang, “City of angels…you’re the city of angels…” and just spoke life over the city. What a powerful way to connect with other believers and to empower one another in the truth of the Word.

Here is a recap video of the event from Heaven Come 2017.

Here is the opening night of worship. The video is about one hour long and it encompasses worship from Brian and Jenn Johnson (who oversee the Bethel music label); Brooke Ligertwood (aka Brooke Fraser), worship leader and songwriter from Hillsong’s global church; and more!

Here is a new song by Hillsong Worship called “So Will I (100 Billion X).”

Here is a video of Heaven Come 2017 worship with Kristene DiMarco and Paul and Hannah McClure.

Did you know there are multiple campuses around the U.S. that have the same culture, worship and teaching as Bethel church? There is also a Bethel Supernatural School of Ministry (bssm.net), where people learn about deliverance, healing, worship and the prophetic according to the Word of God. The church is all about bringing heaven to earth, to bring revival of the sons and daughters into a generation and to awaken people to the love of Jesus through the Gospels in the Bible.

I want to also mention that one of the main worship leaders, Kristene DiMarco, one of my favorite artists from the Bethel and Jesus Culture movement, released a new album over the weekend, and she also led worship so beautifully at the conference. Some of my favorite songs she does are “Take Courage,” “It Is Well” (her version) and, of course, her new single, “I Am No Victim.”
