Blogger Christi’s New Facebook Page and Favorite Places to Find Inspiration!

[Image Credit: Hungry Souls (Christi Given)]

One day I was praying about how I could bless people. I asked God what He wanted me to do and I felt like I needed to create a Facebook page called Hungry Souls. The page would be a place for people to be encouraged, write a prayer requests and read scripture verses. God gave me the logo idea and the scripture that would be just fitting for the page.

As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God (Psalms 42:1).

Hungry Souls is still growing; it’s a place where anyone can send questions, encourage one another and pray. The goal is to glorify the Lord and uplift other believers. I want to inspire others to share their faith and be able to come together. Whether large or small in numbers, the page isn’t for me–it’s for Jesus and for others!

Do you have a favorite website or blog that encourages you? A blog I really enjoy receiving emails from is God’s Grace, by a young woman of God named Janice. I came across her website and was so blessed by her photos with scriptures and daily cheerful, insightful thoughts. In addition, I also love devotions from Greg Laurie, Joseph Prince and Billy Graham.

    Other inspiring sources I love:

I also felt led to start a blog about my journey of faith and to bless others. Daughter of the King is where I share thoughts about my faith walk, challenges, blessings, revelations, praise and other exciting things I want to share about Jesus!! I include pictures and quotes; also, I included information about my most recent trip to Hillsong in Australia.

Do you have an idea to encourage people such as blogging, posting scriptures, or sending uplifting emails? How do you like to bless people or share your love for God?

PI readers, comment below and share your ideas, thoughts and favorite places you go for fellowship and spiritual nourishment! We love hearing from you!
