“Bring Your Bible to School Day” October 6 and a Chance to Meet the Newsboys!

    byb_16_webconnex_header

With all the craziness in the world and the sometimes seemingly godless society that we tend to see, there is good news! Focus on the Family (on KKLA Radio) recently announced that there will be a “Bring Your Bible to School Day” on Thursday, October 6, 2016, and also a contest to meet the Christian band Newsboys!

Here’s the deal on how to enter the contest to possibly take yourself and three people to meet the Christian band Newsboys (from God’s Not Dead). Go to the Focus on the Family website and fill out the form, read the guidelines and submit for your free guide on how to participate!

PI Girls, do you just LOVE the band the Newsboys? I love the song “God’s Not Dead,” as well as the two films that were recently released! This band has been around since before I was even born, starting in 1985 with Peter Furler, and now includes former DC Talk band member Michael Tait. The band is really great and has made more than 17 albums—six which have been gold certified by the music industry—and have made an impact on millions of souls! What an honor to not only tell your friends about Christ at school by bringing your Bible, but also to sign up for a chance to win a trip to meet these cool rockers for Jesus!
