Caught Being Godly: Christian Artist Yancy Uses Her Gift of Music to Help Others!

Christian pop artist Yancy just released a new album, “Roots for the Journey,” which features her single “Safe.” It’s a lovely song, definitely worth listening to, but the best thing about it? 100% of iTunes sales of the song will be donated to Conduit Mission–a non-profit Christian organization helping Oklahoma tornado victims. Listen to the song below:

The name of the LORD is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe (Proverbs 18:10).

We often talk about how we as Christians should use our gifts to help others; this is exactly what Yancy is doing, and I pray that her cause is fruitful!

Ladies, do you believe that God bestows us with gifts so we can use them to help others?

I’ve never heard any of her new music, but many years ago she was the guest artist at a VBS my family went to (we’re missionaries), so we got to meet her.

I wasn’t a huge fan of the music, but it was pretty good. Not the worst. And yeah, her hair is epic.

I like her hair! And yep, I think God does bestows us with gifts to help other people! I’m still not sure what my gift is, but I’ve been I’m good at writing and ideas. I hope maybe one day I can write lots of good Christian novels!
