Derek Minor Urges Us to Turn Back to God in Upcoming Song!

In a past PI post, “Why We Need Christ Now More Than Ever,” I wrote the following:

It seems to me that young people are heading in the wrong direction. Bad behavior is rampant in schools. And we are constantly witness to bullying, fighting, self-harmdepressionsuicide and hatred…Where is the respect for our elders? Where is the compassion for peers? Where is the desire to live a life of modesty, morality and integrity as is instructed by Christian teaching?

Christian hip hop artist Derek Minor (formerly known as PRo) brings up these concerns in his new single, “In God We Trust.” The song questions the direction society and this country are going in, and points us back to God. I’m really looking forward to hearing the full song, but in the meantime, check out the following teaser trailer!

Minor is signed to Lecrae’s Reach Records label and “In God We Trust” is featured on his upcoming album, “Minorville,” which is due out on September 10, 2013.

Ladies, do you think that society and this country are heading in the wrong direction because God is being removed? What do you think of Minor’s song?
