How lovely!! Good reminders!! Chris sounds like such a great man! As I’m getting older I know I’ll need to remember such things as these. I totally understand the part where he talks about experience turning into baggage. I let a guy that always plays with my emotions steal my first kiss, and I don’t want something like that to happen again!

I’m a high school senior and my school has over 1300 students between the four years… And I’ve never dated! Sure I’ve had crushes, but no guy has caught my eye for more then the semester where we shared a class or two. I’m waiting for a stronger connection with a much more mature guy… High school’s not a great time to find a life partner πŸ˜›

“Wait for the Lord, be strong and let your heart take courage; Wait for the Lord.” Psalm 27:4 I really like this verse, because in the waiting it promises that the Lord with bring courage to your heart, if you let Him. If you wait, you’ll have more courage in Him, and you’ll be able to go in the way He’s leading You instead of the world. You can be more confident in what Christ has for you if you wait!

I agree that waiting for the right man is God’s plan, totally! I loved Chris’s comparisons, too. You shouldn’t let guys test drive your heart. I want to be able to give my man a brand new heart with no miles on it πŸ™‚

I love the way you put that! “a brand new heart with no miles on it.” That’s exactly the thought I’ve been trying to put into words over the past few days πŸ™‚
