Gorgeous girls, your big brother in Christ, Chris Wheeler, is back with more dating advice just for you! This week, Chris (a speaker for our friends at Girls of Grace) is giving you the lowdown on why it’s absolutely, 100% okay if you don’t have a boyfriend right now. Feel like you need to start dating just to get “experience” or because all of your friends are? Then you need to hear his words of wisdom!
Did you miss Chris’s last video? Check it out here!
Girls, do you agree with his advice? What else would you add?
I agree that waiting for the right man is God’s plan, totally! I loved Chris’s comparisons, too. You shouldn’t let guys test drive your heart. I want to be able to give my man a brand new heart with no miles on it 🙂
I love the way you put that! “a brand new heart with no miles on it.” That’s exactly the thought I’ve been trying to put into words over the past few days 🙂
Thank you so much! It is so encouraging to here men talk on this topic, especially in a god honoring way!
Excited for the next video! I love it 🙂 Will be following this! Happy to say that no human relationship can fulfill our hearts like God can!!
“Wait for the Lord, be strong and let your heart take courage; Wait for the Lord.” Psalm 27:4 I really like this verse, because in the waiting it promises that the Lord with bring courage to your heart, if you let Him. If you wait, you’ll have more courage in Him, and you’ll be able to go in the way He’s leading You instead of the world. You can be more confident in what Christ has for you if you wait!
I’m a high school senior and my school has over 1300 students between the four years… And I’ve never dated! Sure I’ve had crushes, but no guy has caught my eye for more then the semester where we shared a class or two. I’m waiting for a stronger connection with a much more mature guy… High school’s not a great time to find a life partner 😛
I totally agree~ awesome!!
I actually needed to hear that! That is awesome, it makes sense now 🙂
Good word!! AMen!!! @ChriWheeler
How lovely!! Good reminders!! Chris sounds like such a great man! As I’m getting older I know I’ll need to remember such things as these. I totally understand the part where he talks about experience turning into baggage. I let a guy that always plays with my emotions steal my first kiss, and I don’t want something like that to happen again!
