Christian Music Spring Playlist: Bethel, Mandisa & More!

This year there are a lot of awesome and inspiring Christian releases happening in the music industry, from Bethel (Starlights) to Mandisa’s fifth debut album (Out of the Dark) and more.

I recently discovered a new artist, Matty Mullins, who has been talking more about his faith outside of Memphis May Fire, the metal band he is a part of. He came out as a solo artist this year, a little change from the Warped Tour lifestyle. His name may be familiar in the secular realm of the music industry, but Mullins has been called to be more bold in what he believes in through his music, and he recently collaborated with one of my favorites newcomer, Jordan Feliz.

Hillsong Young & Free released their acoustic version of their album for Youth Revival, which, of course I absolutely love. Some of my favorites off that album are “When the Fight Calls,” “Passion” and “Where You Are.”

Kim Walker-Smith from Jesus Culture released an album, On My Side, with the popular song “Throne Room.”

NEEDTOBREATHE collaborated recently with Gavin DeGraw on the track “Brother,” and Derek Minor came out with a remix of his track “Change the World,” on iTunes and Spotify, on April 14, 2017.

Before you check out my spring playlist for 2017, watch one of my favorites, Britt Nicole, in her music video “Be the Change”:

This is an incredible playlist, thanks! I’ve never really listened to Bethel that much before, but Starlight is so beautiful and serene!

The Hillsong Y&F album is incredible. I have it on repeat all throughout my school day and on bus rides home. It really puts me in a great mood!
