This is me without makeup. Usually, I only use things for my eyes: shadow, liner, and mascara. Occasionally, I will use concealer/foundation, but I’m more comfortable without it. It’s been hard to be confident in myself, even with makeup, because of the scar on my right cheek from a car wreck when I was 6. But through God, I’ve learned to love me for me. The things I love most are my eyes and smile. It might sound strange, but I’m more confident now, with braces, than I was without them. Like my friend Cassidy said, “They complete you.” And it seems like it. But my eyes are the thing that kills me as beautiful. In the sun, they just blow me away. I don’t care if other people don’t love them. Because I do. I love me, and I know God does too. I hope everyone knows God loves you, with or without makeup, and that He thinks you’re beautiful, no matter what. <3
We here at Project Inspired want to guide and inspire teen girls to be true to themselves and to God. We want to show young girls how to be people of value and confidence – how to be your own best selves – through leading a Christian life. Who are we? We're a team of girls, like you. We edit the site, we post to social media, we hang out in the chat rooms and forums. We talk with you, we listen to you, and we love you!
