DIY Nail Tutorial: Have a Little Fun with Negative Space

For this DIY nail tutorial, we thought we’d kick things up a notch and try out TWO different colors! Hold on to your seats, people. This will get wild! 😉

    What you’ll need:

    • Scissors
    • Tape
    • Pink, olive and clear nail polish

    Step 1:

Cut 14 small pieces of tape in the following shapes: 4 small triangles, 2 large triangles, 3 thin long strips, 1 thick long strip. Place the tape on your fingers as shown in the photo above.

    Step 2:

Grab your pink nail polish and apply it to the exposed area on your thumb, index finger, fourth finger and pinkie. Apply the olive nail polish to the remaining blank spaces.

    Step 3:

Remove the tape. Apply a thin layer of clear nail polish to all of your nails. Sit back and admire your work!
