Duck Dynasty’s Jase and Missy Talk God, Love and True Happiness

Ladies, are you a Duck Dynasty fan? I am! I love the reality show!!! For those of you who don’t know, Duck Dynasty follows the lives of the Robertson family, who make products for duck hunters in West Monroe, Louisiana at their family-owned business, Duck Commander.

I’m not the only one who loves it…Duck Dynasty has been breaking rating records and fans are eagerly anticipating its upcoming season! Why?

Well for me, I love each of the Robertson family members.  They’re pretty hysterical, especially Jase and Phil and Uncle Si and Miss Kay and….okay, I love them all. I love how down to earth they are, even though they’re wealthy. I love how they came from a poor upbringing and never forgot those roots. And I love how they try to instill their wholesome, Christian values in their children. But most of all, I love how they’re so devoted to God Almighty and they share this with their fans, even though the network asked that they tone it down. Love, love, love!

But their faith is not just evident on the show. The Duck Dynasty clan and their family evangelize on a regular basis. It’s who they are. God is number one in their lives and it’s so inspiring.

Following is a clip of Jase, one of founder Phil’s sons, with his wife Missy discussing their upbringing, true happiness, remaining pure and the role God plays in their life.

“We do it because we trust in God and we believe His way is the better way, in all things in life…I’m gonna use whatever God blesses me with as a platform to tell the world, ‘look God is for you. He proved it through sending Jesus down there to die for us and be resurrected. And for us, that gives us second chances and it gives us hope.’ And so we spread that message everywhere…if God can use us, he can use anybody” (Jase Roberton).

It’s so nice to have a reality show that’s family friendly and genuinely Christian. Do you agree?

Ladies, are you a Duck Dynasty fan? Do you find the show inspiring?

I am a BIG Duck Dynasty fan and I’m a bigger fan of how they are not afraid to show their Faith in Christ and stand up to people who are tearing them down. Many people sent complaints to them for praying and using guns on their show and I am pleased and respect them greatly for how they are responding to this situation. I love all of them so much. <3

Also, I am meeting Si in November. He is coming to where I live for a book signing and I would love to let everyone know how it went. (:

I love the Robertsons. I can’t wait until I meet them in Heaven, where we’ll talk about everything and drink sweet tea together and worship God forever 😀

And on a side note, I’d like to point out how much I LOVE that, even though they are rich and famous, they never forget who they are: children of God. I think of the Bible story about the rich young man, who wanted to be faithful, but was too devoted to his earthly things. The Robertsons don’t lose sight on the one true God, and they keep Him LORD of their life! #DuckNation
PS. I just really love John Luke………. :3

Jase and Missy came to my church and Jase spoke and shared his testimony. Willie was supposed to come, but something came up and Jase came instead. He really helped me realize a lot of things and I really loved hearing him speak!

I love Duck Dynasty!! 🙂 Not only is the show wonderfully hilarious, it is so refreshing to see a TV show (reality show, no less!) that focuses so much on God and His wonder! I admire the Robertson’s family faith and the Christian values they portray are absolutely wonderful. I always encourage my younger brothers to watch this show and it’s become a family event when the show is on! By the way, my favorite is Jase. 🙂

Honestly, I don’t think I can name even one reality series that ISN’T creepy. I guess it just bothers me when Christianity becomes a shameful spectacle. “Reality TV” is always shameful.
