Duck Dynasty’s Jase and Missy Talk God, Love and True Happiness

Ladies, are you a Duck Dynasty fan? I am! I love the reality show!!! For those of you who don’t know, Duck Dynasty follows the lives of the Robertson family, who make products for duck hunters in West Monroe, Louisiana at their family-owned business, Duck Commander.
I’m not the only one who loves it…Duck Dynasty has been breaking rating records and fans are eagerly anticipating its upcoming season! Why?
Well for me, I love each of the Robertson family members. They’re pretty hysterical, especially Jase and Phil and Uncle Si and Miss Kay and….okay, I love them all. I love how down to earth they are, even though they’re wealthy. I love how they came from a poor upbringing and never forgot those roots. And I love how they try to instill their wholesome, Christian values in their children. But most of all, I love how they’re so devoted to God Almighty and they share this with their fans, even though the network asked that they tone it down. Love, love, love!
But their faith is not just evident on the show. The Duck Dynasty clan and their family evangelize on a regular basis. It’s who they are. God is number one in their lives and it’s so inspiring.
Following is a clip of Jase, one of founder Phil’s sons, with his wife Missy discussing their upbringing, true happiness, remaining pure and the role God plays in their life.
“We do it because we trust in God and we believe His way is the better way, in all things in life…I’m gonna use whatever God blesses me with as a platform to tell the world, ‘look God is for you. He proved it through sending Jesus down there to die for us and be resurrected. And for us, that gives us second chances and it gives us hope.’ And so we spread that message everywhere…if God can use us, he can use anybody” (Jase Roberton).
It’s so nice to have a reality show that’s family friendly and genuinely Christian. Do you agree?
Ladies, are you a Duck Dynasty fan? Do you find the show inspiring?
