    Elizabeth

My name is Elizabeth, and I am 17. I generally wear makeup on a daily basis, but I really try not to. I’m not very confident in myself, but I try to look for good things about me but it is always hard to. When growing up, I was always told that I wasn’t worth anything, that I wouldn’t find anyone to love me. Anyways, I just wanted to join because I don’t want other girls go though what I had to. I want them to know that they are beautiful no matter what anyone says and that God will love them more than anyone on earth could even try.

    Team Project Inspired
We here at Project Inspired want to guide and inspire teen girls to be true to themselves and to God. We want to show young girls how to be people of value and confidence – how to be your own best selves – through leading a Christian life. Who are we? We're a team of girls, like you. We edit the site, we post to social media, we hang out in the chat rooms and forums. We talk with you, we listen to you, and we love you!

    1. Hi, I only read the comment under your picture, because I HAVE THE SAME EXACT JACKET.
Anyways, God works in cool ways.
Just ten minutes ago I was feeling completely worthless.
And I was telling my friend how the people in my life were right, that I was worthless, because nothing seemed to be going right. I haven’t been able to do anything right, ANYTHING. lol.
But…when I read your comment… “When growing up, I was always told that I wasn’t worth anything, that I wouldn’t find anyone to love me.” that was exactly what was going through my mind. ( I was told exactly the same. and it keeps coming up in my mind.) And I feel like everyday I’ve been fighting to prove that I AM worth it, and that I WILL find someone to love me.
But your comment made me realize something incredible.
I dont have to fight to prove that I am worth it.
because I am… Jesus loves me and he died on that cross for me too.
I can take a breather and just stop fighting, and instead of trying to BECOME worth it, I’ve realized that I am, and always have been. I was born worth it. And made in His image.
      Thank you.
      🙂
(btw, I would love it if you emailed me. we might have stuff in common.)
