“Everything Is Possible” Book by Jen Bricker, Who Has No Legs But Still Pursued Her Dreams!
Written by Christi Given | September 22, 2016
An amazing young woman, Jen Bricker, wrote a book (with Sheryl Berk) called Everything Is Possible: Finding the Faith and Courage to Follow Your Dreams, about her life story and testimony. Bricker was born without legs, and with her heart on the opposite side of her chest, yet despite this, she still pursued her dreams as an aerialist in acrobatic gymnastics. She also miraculously found out from her mother at age 16 that her ONE AND ONLY role model, Olympic gold medalist Dominique Moceanu, is her biological sister—Bricker was adopted!
WOW! What a powerful life story! How supernatural is her testimony, PI Girls?
Her memoir is about her struggles, her dreams, her ambitions and challenges, and also the miracles of God and how He works in surreal ways! Jen has been seen on ABC’s Good Morning America, has traveled all over the world, has headlined in Las Vegas doing acrobatics and has written her book to inspire others around the world! Nothing has stopped this beautiful young lady from following her passions because she feels that she is on this earth for a purpose! She is so inspiring and makes no excuses for her disability (which really isn’t a disability because she looks at her condition as an opportunity to speak through platform).
Watch a clip of Jen Bricker’s story on HBO, Two of a Kind, with Jen Bricker and Dominique Moceanu.
One thing that Jen wants people to know is that no matter what your dream is, anything is possible and God can use you! She never imagined that she could be related to Dominique and could be used to this capacity through her story, but she is honored to be using her life to help encourage people, and her story really is miraculous.
PI Girls, what is your dream or God-given passion? What do you wish you could do for a living or for your career? No matter what seems to be getting in the way, know that it cannot stop you from God’s ultimate plan for your life!
