    Fashion: Top 5 Prom Accessories

Prom season is here, girls! We’ve already covered prom dress fashion with posts on both floor length and knee length gowns, and some ideas for cute prom hairstyles. So what’s left to think about? Accessories!

We suggest picking out either a stunning bracelet, earrings or necklace to really make your look pop. You could also pick up a small purse or cute headband to complete your outfit. It’s your moment to go big, so really show off your personality! See our five picks, then let us know what you’re planning to add to your look in the comments below!

Don’t want to carry a big purse around the dance floor? Try a phone case/wallet clutch! This stylish phone wallet features pink lace fabric, a hinge closure and a clear face. The interior features multi-card slots and an all purpose pocket (with room for your cell phone), and a removable wristlet strap. (Wet Seal, $9)

You can’t go wrong with dangly, sparkly earrings. Go big or small, colored or basic silver–it’s always fun to sparkle a bit and prom is the best place to do so! We love these classic fireball earrings in silver with clear stones. (Delia’s, $6.50)

Headbands are an awesome way to accessorize and they look great whether you wear your hair up or down. We also love simple hair clips, and these gold bow bobby pins have a hint of rock ‘n’ roll with a studded middle. (Forever 21, $4)

Cross bracelets are a great way to chicly show your faith. We love this gold colored hook and eye bracelet that will look great at prom, but would also be a great everyday staple. (Forever 21, $4)

A huge, bright necklace is your boldest option for a larger-than-life accessory. If you’re wearing an understated dress, you might want to consider a strong statement piece. Bib necklaces, like the pink version we found here, are super in style right now and pair great with the prom aesthetic. (Charlotte Russe, $13)

Which of these cute accessories is your favorite? How are you going to accessorize your prom look (or how did you, if you’ve already had your prom!)?
