Five Ideas for a Weekend of Good, Clean FUN!

The doldrums have a way of sneaking up on everyone – whether it’s a quiet weekend or a vacation that drags on a tad too long. Here are some ideas to inject some fun into your day!

    1. Start a scrapbook!

The weekend is a great time to start this fun project. A cute scrapbook is the perfect place for all your photos of friends and loved ones. Add in great little quotes, stickers and decorate it to your taste. I’m just now starting one, and it’s a lot of fun and a great way to look back on good times.

    2. Have a barbeque!

Invite your friends over and learn how to work the grill. It’s a great way to spend time with friends, enjoy a nice day, and share delicious food!

    3. Go out for a night of karaoke!

This is a great way to bond with your friends and show people what you’re made of onstage! If you’re not necessarily a natural extrovert, karaoke is a great way to overcome stage fright. The first time I went karaoke-ing, I was so scared of going on stage and singing! But then my friends and I got on stage and sang “Baby Got Back” and the crowd loved it. I’ve enjoyed it ever since! 🙂

    4. Go get a makeover!

A ton of stores offer complimentary makeup consultations for little or no money. Get glammed up or just try a whole different look! I love going to Sephora for this. 🙂

    5. Film a home movie!

One of your friends will surely have access to a camcorder – or there are many on the market now that are surprisingly affordable (and easy to use!).

Making a home movie is the best way to capture a memory. Film is forever! I like to bring my camcorder when I go someplace new so I can document the trip. 🙂
