Girl Prays for God’s Protection in Midst of Danger…and He Answers!

Ladies, have you ever experienced a time in your life when you felt that God was protecting you? Maybe it was in a moment of danger or distress when you called out to Him and He answered.

Following is an amazing story about a young girl who found herself in a very scary and dangerous situation. So she did what God has told all of us to do: She called out to Him and asked Him to protect her.

    Find out what happened next:

God is so full of love and mercy. And even in this time of distress, when Elizabeth prayed for His protection, not only did He answer, but He called upon her to pray for the man whose intention was to hurt her. She was afraid for her life, and yet He asked her to show the man love. Wow!

This story also reminds us that prayer is an amazing thing. It’s our connection to God. When we pray, we acknowledge that He is with us all the time. But don’t just save your prayers for those moments of distress. Scripture calls for us to pray all the time, consistently and continually. And when you pray, you need to believe that what you want will come true. Isn’t this an amazing truth? That God is just waiting to rescue us? All we have to do is call upon Him and our Father will be right there, “blocking” the danger and guiding us to safety.

Ladies, have you ever called out to God in a time of need and He answered? Share your story below. We love to hear from you!

    1. Wow… This is amazing!!! One night when I was going through a really hard time, I was lying in bed crying and praying. After I prayed, I heard Gods voice saying, “My daughter” over and over again as if He was holding me in His arms. 🙂 I started crying again, but tears of happiness 🙂

    2. This is so amazing, I had a similar experience one night when I ended up having to walk home in the dark because my car broke down and no one could come pick me up. It was a short distance, probably 15 or 20 minutes away walking, but i could feel God with me and protecting me as i prayed for him to watch over me as I walked. I made it home safe and sound and I knew Gd would always take care of me.

    3. This may sound silly, but here you go:
About a year ago, I had a very painful ulcer in my mouth and my orthodontist appointment happened to land on that day. I was very nervous for the appointment because I couldn’t barely open my mouth because of the pain, and I knew that I would have to at the appointment. As I settled into the chair, I silently prayed “Help me, God.” The orthodontist said, “Open up,” and I did and literally felt no pain whatsoever. It was crazy. And once the appointment was over, the pain came back.
It completely blew my mind that the pain that had been pretty intense for a few days completely vanished when I needed it to.
Like I said, kind of a silly story, but God’s grace really is beautiful.

    4. Yes!!! God is so real!! Our God is so good! I remember when my Grandmother passed away. I was in the eleventh grade. And I just knew I wouldn’t be able to get through anything without Him. One night I got down on my knees and said God help me. After I said that immediately it was like this overwhelming sense of peace or calmness came over me. I couldn’t cry because I felt so calm I can’t truly explain it. But God was holding me through that tough time in my life.

    5. When I was in the hospital and couldn’t walk, I prayed just about every second. The physical therapists came in to see what kind of shape I was in, and asked me to stand. Problem was, I couldn’t move my legs. I picked them up with my hands and set them on the floor, then I prayed even harder. I’m not sure exactly what I prayed in my mind, but I remember praying, ‘please, Jesus, help me stand…please.’ I shakily pushed myself off the bed. My knees buckled because they couldn’t hold any weight, and I fell to the floor. I remember looking up and to my right and seeing someone’s hand to help me up. But the thing was that no one was to my right; just the IV pole I was hooked up to. I know it was God there and that He was with me. 🙂 He answered my prayer by helping me stand in faith; that is how I am healed. 🙂
