JesusPeopleSeeker, I am glad you asked this question, because so many of us deal with this problem! Some of us may have a crush on a non-Christian guy, date a non-Christian guy, fall in love with a non-Christian guy, or even marry a non-Christian guy, but I promise you it’s not worth it. My own experience parallels the advice that our fellow PIgirls have shared in the previous comments, and I fell in love with an atheist. I thought I could change him, but emily.kate’s right. He changed me instead. Eventually I discovered this and sorrowfully had to end the relationship since thankfully I knew God was more important, but it was hard, and I assure you it’s a lot easier to say “no” to dating initially than it is to end a long relationship after discovering the same thing that should have prevented you in the first place. :/
I completely empathize with you, beautiful. <3 Sometimes we fall for the wrong people. Just remember that God is with you the whole time, and the closer you get to Him, the more your heart will only want guys whose hearts are as on fire for God are you are. 🙂 Love you, girlie. God bless. <3
