Glam for God: What Blogger Christi Would Wear and Some 2015 Trends!

Hello PI Girls! Here are some of my favorite looks that I would personally wear, so this is not a 2015 generic trend post, but I was inspired by these modest outfits and I hope you will be, too! Within some of the looks posted, there may be some trends, but again, this is what I would wear or what you might see me wearing on a regular day. A lot of the pieces in each look are interchangeable with different outfits, such as the accessories, hats, boots and purses. Comment below and let me know which is YOUR favorite look. hashtag: #ProjectInspired, #ModestIsHottest

Look #1: Boots (Booties), Skinny Jeans, Sweater

Here is a combo of a plain-color shirt with a patterned sweater. This look is cute, casual, easy and quick, but also trendy. You can purchase sweaters like these at H&M, Forever 21, Target and more.

Look #2: Black Hat, Poncho, High Black Boots (Riding Boots), Red Lips

Fringe is in…so are big sweaters, kimonos and black anything.

Look #3: Big Hat, Blazer, Checkered Pants

I love this look from SHE IS Clothing and totally love big hats. They are cute, easy to wear and add to your entire look. Love this black blazer with the checkered pants. Follow SHE IS Clothing on Instagram @SheIsClothing for more cute looks.

Look #4: Big Hat, Printed T-Shirt, Statement Jewelry

I love this “Kingdom Come” shirt and the trendy hipster vibe this girl is wearing. This photo comes from My Traveling Closet. Follow them on Instagram @MyTravelingCloset for more looks.

Look #5: High-Collared Blouse, Statement Piece

Love this look…it is so me! This high-collared polka-dot blouse is modest, yet dressy. Add a statement piece to your outfit and voilà!—you just sealed it with the final touch. Do you like it? Yes or no?

Look #6: Stripes, Scarves, Accessories

This comes from the Fancy Things Blog and is totally my style! I love the patterns, and the scarf adds to the look. Also, you can never go wrong with a large handbag. The whole outfit is modest and fun! Follow FTB on Instagram @FancyThingsBlog.

Look #7: Lookbook-Inspired Outfit

Loving the black leather jacket, the briefcase-looking handbag and the vintage shoes. This look is chic yet casual. Love it! Would you wear this? Comment below! Follow Look Book on Instagram @Lookbook or see their official website, lookbook.nu.

Look #8: Trench Coat, Statement Sunglasses, High Heels

Loving the leather pants, the large trench and the beige bag. The whole look is beautifully elegant while remaining modest and casual. Follow @NanysKlozet on Instagram for more looks.

Look #9: Blouse, Ripped Jeans

@NanysKlozet can really pull off the look you see with the ripped jeans and the blouse that shows some shoulder/arms. This is a cute streetwear look that is casual but fashionable. Not everyone will want to do this look because of the arms that are shown, but you can get a similar look by finding a plain white blouse or top! Do you like it? Yes or no? Comment below!

Look #10: Big Sweater, Leggings, Riding Boots, Big Purse

The Fancy Things Blog shows how leggings and knee-high riding boots can look so cute and fashionable! I love the big sweater, and this brown purse is perfect for the look. What is your favorite piece in this outfit?

I’ve never been much for following trends, nor have I really been able to. (Being really tall and having lots of hair that doesn’t like to be contained are major factors, but it’s mostly me being a rebellious cuss.) I tend to just do whatever the heck I want. Sometimes I want sparkly nails and glittery eyeshadow and hot pink lipstick, and sometimes I want my dad’s leather aviator’s jacket and my scuffed-up cowboy boots. Usually a strange combination of both.

I love all of these! I like how loose-fitting clothes are coming back. I just wish I could afford to go shopping 🙁
