In a surprise move, pop-singer Justin Bieber announced a special gift for his fans on Christmas Eve. The twenty-five-year-old announced a 2020 album, tour, and docuseries.
In a video shared to Youtube, the singer announced the new projects he has planned for 2020, placing an emphasis on Gods hand on the whole thing.
“As humans, we are imperfect,” Bieber says in the 90-second video. “My past, my mistakes, all the things that I’ve been through, I believe that I’m right where I’m supposed to be and God has me right where he wants me.”
The video flashed a nearly 50-city tour that begins May 14, and concludes September 26 in New Jersey.
“I feel like this is different than the previous albums just because of where I’m at in my life,” he added.
“I’m excited to perform it and to tour it. We all have different stories,” he said. “I’m just excited to share mine.”
The past couple of years have been growing years for Bieber. In 2017, in the middle of a worldwide tour, the singer canceled it all. He cited mental health, drug abuse, and simply needing time to work on himself.
Since stepping away from the musical spotlight, Bieber has become increasingly vocal about his faith in God, and his reliance on Him. He has used his Instagram platform of 123 million followers to talk about his relationship with God time-and-time again.
He has recently shared guided prayers by his friend and mentor Pastor Judah Smith on social media, encouraging his fans to listen.
What do you think about Justin Bieber’s upcoming tour? Anyone else hoping for some Christian music?
