God Made You With a Purpose! By PI Girl, Melanie

Have you ever had that feeling of emptiness where you felt like you haven’t done anything with your life or that you’re never going to amount to anything? NOT TRUE! God made you with you in mind. He brought you into this world to make a difference!

Take action, do something to better the world! Whether it’s giving blood or helping the poor, you really can save lives! People, animals, GOD will thank you for doing your part. I know it may seem like someone else can donate to this or that charity so it seems easy to think that you don’t need to. But if everyone thought that way, no one would be doing their part!

Do you want to be the one who takes action, or the one that watches other people do it?

Here are some things you can do:

  • Go on mission trips at church, whether they’re halfway across town or halfway across the world!
  • If you love to sing, do it for God โ€” join your church choir.
  • If you see something horrid in this world, say something!
  • If you don’t have time to go on mission trips or be a part of the church choir, you can always spread the gospel and tell your friends about Christ.

One step, one action, will turn into millions! Don’t just say, “Eh, tomorrow I’ll do it,” because I know we’ve all thought that. Today, today, today! Did I mention to do it today? Haha ๐Ÿ™‚

The creator of the universe made you and gave you life! You are NOT a waste of space. You can do anything with God on your side. YOU have a purpose, you just have to find it.

Wonderful article! God gave you a special gift of writing! I have gone on a missions trip with my parents and some classmates of mine! We went to Haiti after the earthquake, which was not long after my family had a house fire. I realized how truly blessed I was to be alive and safe, and have my family and friends. I loved serving there! It was the best experience that ever happened to me! It was truly life changing, and I suggest it to everyone to go on a missions trip… if you can’t think of ways you might be able to visit those who are less fortunate within you community, or out of state, somewhere in the poorer areas of the United States. Believe me, there is poverty even in America! I recently went to Kentucky in the Appalachia area as a reach out to the community, and I couldn’t believe my eyes! They so desparately needed the Word of God, and we helped give them that and so much more! Make a difference today!

I love this article so much! It has inspired me to help the thousands of people in Africa that don’t have clean water to drink. A great non-profit charity is called Charity water, with every dollar they get, they use it to build wells so the people can drink from it, instead of walking many miles to get water! go to http://www.charitywater.org to help! and thanks Melanie for this article!!

I love this. We all have a purpose, even if you don’t know what it is. For example,God puts certian people in your life for a reason, you don’t need to know the reason. God knowing the reason is all that matters.

Have you ever read “In his steps, by Charles Sheldon? Its about people who completly give thereselves to God, sacrificing their popularity, their time, and everything. What I’m trying to say is, if you put your faith in God, and let Him take control of your steps, it may hurt, but the results will be AMAZING, because our God is AMAZING!!
