Greer Grammer Is Fun in Flamingo Pink and We Match Last Week’s Modest Favorite!
Written by T.M. Gaouette | July 15, 2014
Hey ladies, modesty isn’t just about not wearing revealing clothes–it’s so much more than that. Modesty is an actual virtue that can be found in a person’s character, for both girls and guys! And dressing modestly comes from that virtue. Modesty protects a person’s dignity, from the way a person acts to the way a person speaks. And when it comes to clothing, a person who dresses with modesty is not guided by what’s in fashion, but rather by what is dignified and what respects the human body.
With that, let’s take a look at this week’s selection…and don’t forget the matchup!
I love this classic-looking dress! The print fabric under the asymmetric draped neckline is a fun touch, and the high-waisted pencil skirt with the high-low ruffle hem is so chic!
This long white lace outfit is just adorable. I love the maxi skirt and the modest length of the underlining. The crop top comes over the fitted waist to add perfect dimension!
How much fun is this flamingo pink dress? The color is just awesome and the chiffon fabric adds a light, flowy feel to the look!
Now for our modest matchup!
Last week, Lucy Liu’s fun business dress won our Modest Is Hottest poll, so I went in search of a similar dress that could help you get her look!
This dress shares the business feel of Liu’s dress, along with the fit-and-flare, cap-sleeve design. It also has the black trim around the neckline for a two-tone feature that breaks up the gray. Plus, the added trim at the hips gives the illusion of pockets. You can wear this dress for most occasions, including going to school or hanging out with friends. What do you think?
