The Hillsong Young and Free worship band, geared for youth, released their first single, “Peace,” on iTunes. They also released their official music video. I absolutely love the message behind the track “Peace.” I feel like it’s something we truly need in our culture. We definitely have a deep longing for love and we search for purpose. People need to know God hears their prayers, sees their anxious heart and wants us to give all fears and worries to Him. Lay down your burdens at the foot of the cross. Trust that Jesus is with you and loves you so much. Know and believe that God has a perfect plan for your life.

Here are some of the lyrics from Young & Free, written by Benjamin Hastings, Melodie Wagner and Michael Fatkin:

“You will stay true
Even when the lies come
Your Word remains truth
Even when my thoughts don’t line up
I will stand tall on each promise You made
Let the rest fade away…
There’s a peace far beyond all understanding
May it ever set my heart at ease
Dare anxiety come I’ll remember
That peace is a promise You keep
Peace is a promise You keep…”

We love you! God has a BIG plan for your life—trust Him!

I don’t have anxiety- but after watching this music video I certainly felt it! The video is so disturbing and has a dark vibe. Every comment I have read regarding this video on multiple social media platforms all agree that something isn’t quite right with it. The song is great… the words are awesome, but I don’t think the music video is of any relevance to the song and is without a doubt unusual.
    Kind regards 🙂
