Hollywood Screen Legend Elizabeth Taylor Passed Away

Elizabeth Taylor- her name alone is signified with beauty, grace, and elegance. She passed away today at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles due to heart failure at the age of 79. She’s a legendary actress well known for her roles in Cleopatra, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, and Who’s Afraid of Virginia Wolf. For decades, her philanthropy has been focused on HIV/AIDS. However, In 2009 Elizabeth donated 100,000 for the Alliance for Christian education. Here is a powerful scripture of God’s promise to us when we die:

John 14:1-2

“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.”

She’s gone to her home now in Heaven and will be missed.

I watched her tribute day on TCM channel, it was so sad, she will be so missed as the last actress of her era. You can see in her movies just how much natural talent, and beauty she had.

She was such an icon. I think I’m going to have a private movie retrospective in her honor this weekend.
