How Are You Celebrating New Year’s Eve?

New Year’s Eve is a fun holiday. Whether you dress up and go out or stay in with family in your PJ’s, there’s just something about the ushering in of a new year that’s both exciting and refreshing. We know that while some of you will be fighting to keep your eyelids open while watching the ball drop on TV, others will be wide-eyed and surrounded by friends or family. Are you dressing up? Staying in or going out? Tell us about how you’re planning to spend your New Year’s in the polls below, then give us more details in the comments!

    Team Project Inspired
We here at Project Inspired want to guide and inspire teen girls to be true to themselves and to God. We want to show young girls how to be people of value and confidence – how to be your own best selves – through leading a Christian life. Who are we? We're a team of girls, like you. We edit the site, we post to social media, we hang out in the chat rooms and forums. We talk with you, we listen to you, and we love you!

    1. This will probably be the first year since I was little where I am not really celebrating. I have to be responsible and get up the next day and work hard, so Imma stay home and prolly read a book or something. I may or may not stay up until midnight, but no longer, most likely. I feel oddly relieved by the concept. lol

    2. I always go to church on NYE. It snowing bad here in New York, so I could not go. I was very dissapionted. My best friend, Chloe, went though. I just felt happy for her and played a game called SORRY. I lost, but I felt better. it is nice to spend more time with my family. I can’t wait to see the ball drop. Can you? I am surely going to watch. Now my 2 brothers are playing more games, and I am taking a long break. I am getting very sleepy. Bye!

    3. This is the first year we didn’t do anything for New Years Eve. In fact I almost totally forgot it was New Years Eve! But, actually, it was ok. I journaled the last half an hour of 2013 and the first half an hour of 2014. It gave me time to reflect and think about hope. 🙂

    4. Our church youth group holds an annual lock-in where we stay up all night from NYE to New Year’s Day. This was the first year that I went, and it was SOOO much fun! Although when I got home at 7:30 in the morning, I instantly crashed until noon! 🙂
I usually just spend New Year’s Eve with my parents playing Crazy Eights until my dad gets tired and goes to bed haha 🙂
