    “How Great Thou Art” by Carrie Underwood

    PI Girls, I am transitioning into a new segment for Project Inspired and will be wrapping up the Christi’s Covers videos for now. I’m grateful to have been filming these videos for a little over a year now. Please stay tuned on my YouTube channel to keep up with the latest in music and to watch my other videos.

    The song I chose this week is a famous hymn called “How Great Thou Art,” one of my all-time favorite hymns and worship songs. It is so powerful and yet so basic in representing the true message of the Gospel and the good news of Jesus Christ dying on the cross for the entire world and our sins so that we may be reunited in eternity. What a beautiful free gift: salvation. I pray that this classic yet timeless song will touch the inner depths of your soul and draw you closer to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. God bless you, PI Girls!

    “How Great Thou Art”

    O Lord my God, When I in awesome wonder
    Consider all the worlds Thy Hands have made;
    I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,
    Thy power throughout the universe displayed.Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
    How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
    Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
    How great Thou art, How great Thou art!When through the woods, and forest glades I wander,
    And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees
    When I look down, from lofty mountain grandeur
    And see the brook, and feel the gentle breeze.Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
    How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
    Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
    How great Thou art, How great Thou art!And when I think of God, His Son not sparing,
    Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in;
    That on the Cross, my burden gladly bearing,
    He bled and died to take away my sin.

    Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
    How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
    Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
    How great Thou art, How great Thou art!

    When Christ shall come, with shout of acclamation,
    And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart.
    Then I shall bow, in humble adoration,
    And then proclaim: “My God, how great Thou art!”

    Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
    How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
    Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
    How great Thou art, How great Thou art!
