How I Store All My Makeup!

After I posted the picture of me without makeup on last night, a girl wrote me today asking what I use to hold all my makeup because she said she had a lot and didn’t know what to use. After a long search through various makeup cases and holders, I finally found the perfect one!

It has five drawers which lets me perfectly separate all my makeup! Here’s the first picture of the whole thing, including the box I store my candle on, lit when I’m applying the makeup in the morning. I like the double-sided mirror which you can turn over for magnification. (Scary, I know- but it’s important in the natural daylight to get every last hair when I tweeze my eyebrows.

On the top of the dresser I keep all my brushes for foundation, concealer, powder, kabuki brush, eye shadow brushes and blending brush in a cup. The Brush Cleaner I use is next to it which I use to sanitize them every three days. The pencils you see are my colored eyeliners and lip liners.

The second drawer — all my lipsticks and lip glosses:

These are my blushes, bronzers, highlighters and false eyelashes:

This drawer is for my foundations, concealers, primer for under the makeup, and highlighters for my cheekbones, under my eyebrows, too:

The last drawer is for my perfumes, my favorite nail polishes, makeup pads and my eyeshadow quads with multiple colors that won’t fit in the top drawer:

This dresser was only $10 at Target and is SUPER EASY to use! They also have smaller three drawer versions.

I’ll share with you girls what makeup products I love THE MOST and you can apply them to your makeup regimen – if you tell me how you store YOUR makeup and your makeup must-haves.

I LOVE learning about new products! I hope you had fun! xoxo

    1. To be perfectly honest, Nicole, this makes you seem kind of hypocritical because you talk about how the media has such an influence on people’s appearance and how you should be proud of yourself and who you are… and then you have all this makeup that you use all the time? I wish you were confident in yourself like you want us to be confident. Seriously…

    2. Excuse me Laura, but Nicole is obviously confident in herself and how she looks because, 1. she posts untouched photos of herself on the web for everyone to see and 2. Nicole recently posted a picture of herself without any makeup on. What I’m getting at is that loving makeup doesn’t mean you wear it because of low self esteem. Personally, I wear makeup to feel MORE beautiful and also for its artistic value.

    3. Seriously I think I said this on your picture without makeup but I’ll say it again. Use Arbonne. You are SO beautiful and you should treat your skin and body properly with natural products that actually work! I am not trying to spam you I love your message and I think that you would benefit from just giving Arbonne a shot. 🙂

    4. Well, I must say, you certainly DO have a lot of make-up! But I guess that’s what happens when you try different types out and as you grow a bit older… it all piles up! I’m 16 and I have about 1/10 of the amount of make-up that you have, but that’s ok… I don’t use it every single day! I store all my eyeshadow, blush, eyeliners, mascaras, bronzers, foundations, and brushes in a shoebox that I wrapped in white wrapping paper and decorated with drawings and encouraging and uplifting Proverbs and sayings. However, I am a nail polish junkie and that all has to be stored in a much larger box. I store all my nail polish and supplies in a small-ish suitcase type box thingy… it’s kinda hard to describe. It’s a square shape and looks like a piece of luggage, but it has a hard shell which keeps the box from sagging or breaking. It’s big enough to hold more than 80 bottles of nail polish lined neatly upright on the bottom… 🙂

    5. I think it’s perfectly fine to wear whatever kind of makeup you want, as long as you’re doing it for yourself and not for others!
That’s an amazing amount of makeup. Serious organizational skills!

      • Hey Marisa! I would use an anti-frizz serum in your hair when you get out of the shower, John Frieda has a nice one. Make sure to blow-dry your hair with the nozzle pointed down, and then put a shine spray in your hair afterward to make it look glossy. Many brands have this! I hope this helps girly 🙂

    6. cool 🙂 I store my makeup the same way. By the way I don’t wear that much makeup… because I feel better without it and I like the way I look… most of the time. But I still like experimenting and wearing it on random days. My makeup must have is chapstick, definitely
