Daigle took to Instagram to announce the world-wide tour, teasing her fans 24 hours before with a teaser post.
The next day the artist shared a photo to Instagram writing: “The Lauren Daigle WORLD TOUR is coming to a city near you!!!”
“Tickets on sale FRIDAY but you can sign up to get access to tickets TOMORROW using the link in my bio!!”
The 44-date tour will launch in Australia in January and end in Daigle’s hometown of Lafayette, Louisiana, in July.
In an interview with People Magazine, the artist expressed how excited she was to go on tour, predominately because of the atmosphere it creates for concert go-ers.
“I love putting out a vibe where people are free to respond however they feel and where people feel like a warm welcome, where they can have a good laugh and let go of some of the things they have been holding on to through the stress of family or work or whatever,” she told People. It’s going to be lively and fun and cheerful as well as emotionally connected.”
Daigle plans to create a “loose, creative fun, engaging and emotional” tour, starting in Melbourne, Australia and ending in Lafayette, Louisiana, the singers hometown.
The upcoming 44-date tour will be sure to incorporate some of her newest songs including ones off of Look Up Child.
“It’s a creative outlet and a way to get visual aesthetic to marry sonic landscapes,” she says of the tour’s production.
