Hey girls! I just want to give you all a heads-up!
I’m here in NYC with my family, and that’s why I’ve been offline and not posting/writing as much. But once I’m back home, I will be busy as a bee! (This Wednesday.)
Today my family and I went to the Natural History Museum, where we took a look at real dinosaur skeletons, saw a spectacular visual show about the stars and our universe, and so much more!
Afterward we had dinner at a restaurant called Patsy’s (it was Frank Sinatra’s favorite restaurant) and I had yummy Fettucine Alfredo. I just got back to my hotel room from seeing the Broadway show Spiderman! It was so fantastic! The special effects, the music from U2, the actors’ performances– it is truly something to be seen.
For Christmas yesterday, we went to see the Nutcracker ballet. It was so beautiful and breathtaking. We also went to a church service in the heart of the city. We attended a church that has been there for over 150 years.
I love New York, it is so different from LA and the open land that I’m used to. I didn’t like NYC at all the first time I came here last year. I think it was because it’s so different and much more fast-paced than where I live. But it’s grown on me. And now I <3 New York!
Tomorrow we’re going to take a look at the new World Trade Center that’s almost done being built, then we’ll take a walk on Wall Street and maybe do some holiday sale shopping. 🙂
I am so grateful that I got to spend Christmas here with my husband and family. We are having such an amazing time. Don’t worry, I’m taking a lot of pictures so I can show you girls when I’m back!
Here’s a quick look at the evolution of Spiderman!
Can’t wait to see the pictures! Espcially the World Trade Center.
It’s nice to know that you are having sure a great time! 🙂
I love the Nutcracker Ballet! I performed in it with the Minnesota Ballet this winter 🙂 was it the New York Ballet?
Sounds like you are having a great time, and I can’t wait to have your voice back on Project Inspired!
yes it was the New York Ballet! 🙂
It sounds like you are having loads of fun! I hope you are enjoying the rest of your time there. Can’t wait to see the photos!
Christmas in NYC! That is so cool! :O New York fits into the category of “bright lights, big city” (REAL bright and big…), and to be honest I’m not the most comfortable in crowded cities, and the fact that I live in a quiet town doesn’t really help either. But maybe I’ll go someday. (^_^) But NYC! Awesome~!
I’m so jealous!!!! You’re doing all the thing’s I’ve wanted to do that are on my bucket list–World Trade Center (to remember the people who died there a decade ago), Spiderman on Broadway (the music and the special effects look amazing!!!), Saaks Fifth Avenue (I’m guessing you went there even if it was a breif vist since it’s so popular), and now I wanna go have some fettuchini alfredo at Frank Sinatra’s favorite restaraunt! ♥ Can’t wait for more pics! (I know you uploaded a couple on facebook, but I want to see more of the City!!)
Nicole you could have called me and we could have hung out together! (I live in New York) Ha Ha just kidding. I hope you had a fun time! 😀
Anyone else think of night at the museum when they saw the t-rex skeleton?
