I’m Loving This: Group 1 Crew’s Latest Album, “Fearless”
Written by Christi Given | April 20, 2013
Group 1 Crew has been around for some time in the Christian music scene, but they recently have become more well-known. Their music has been featured on One Tree Hill, America’s Got Talent and more. The former trio (now duo) has made an impact on culture, the music business and through their ministry!
Their latest album “Fearless” is their fourth in-studio CD and is expressing exactly who they are as a music group: fearless. The album’s goal is to encourage believers to keep the faith and to step out. They even have “Fearless Steppin’ Out Gear” on their website that fans can purchase.
Listen to “His Kind of Love,” which is one of my favorite songs off the album:
The duo recently participated in the “Kings & Queens Tour” with Audio Adrenaline. The band also collaborated with one of my favorites, Chris August, in their new song called “He Said.” I love the lyrics:
Don’t fear when you go through the fire
Hang on when it’s down to the wire
Stand tall and remember what He said
I won’t give you more, more then you can take
and I might let you bend, but I won’t let you break…
Listen to “He Said,” featuring Chris August:
The band also just released a new, 10-week series of “What He Said” devotionals on YouTube with a different topic for each session. I’m loving their video on forgiveness!
