The popular Christian worship band Worth Dying For has made a big impact in the world of Christian music! Two of the group’s lead singers, husband and wife Jeremy and Christy Johnson, have more than 9 years of experience in ministry and leading a youth group. Now, the Johnsons are ready to plant their own church in downtown Los Angeles!
The couple has a vision to transform lives in the California region and beyond. The dynamic duo are anointed worship leaders who have graced the screen of the JCTV music channel and made their mark with the Ammunition Conferences, which they initiated in 2006. The two fearless leaders now have some news about their church name, location and also the NEW name and vision for their conference.
Their church will be based on 1 John 4:18, “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear…”

Their vision for the church is “…not only for the Kingdom of God to be established but also to see each person empowered by the Holy Spirit to reach their God-given destiny” (FearlessLa.com). The worship will be
Passionate, radical, genuine, and free. Our worship team, Worth Dying For, ushers in the presence of God with radical praise, and anointed worship. Releasing an incredible spirit of freedom and power each time they lead worship, Worth Dying For is the heartbeat of our services.
The other exciting announcement coming from the Johnsons is their Fearless Conference, which will be held in Los Angeles in September 2013. The event is free and will be held in the Belasco Theatre all three of the revival nights.
I love the motto and theme of the conference, “Fear will say you can’t but God will say you can.” For more information about the events, visit their website and add their Facebook page to get updates! This conference and church is going to be rocking and will make waves.
PI, let’s pray for Pastors Jeremy and Christy, the band Worth Dying For, the other worship leaders, artists and team members. Let us pray for endurance and grace as they plant this church in the heart of Los Angeles where there is a need for light, life and hope. Can you pray that this area is impacted in a positive and powerful way?
My prayer is that we may see the glory of God through the church, the conferences and concerts. God is on the move and it is so exciting to watch!
PI readers, have you heard of Worth Dying For, and if so, what is YOUR favorite song of theirs?
