I get kind of resentful whenever somebody mentions Miss America or Miss such-and-so state. I was offered to compete in the Miss North Carolina pageant, but my mom said no. I could have won so much money, and i’ll bet that it would have been cool just to be in that…

This just goes to show that God can build you up when you’ve been down all your life!

This is so inspiring! She is defying the traditional view of beauty and demonstrating beauty as God intended it.

…and the stigma of autistic people!!! (FYI:I’m autistic too, and there’s quite a few famous people on the spectrum out there, but I don’t believe they get enough attention by the media. Hopefully, I want to change that for GOOD!!!)

She is such an inspiration! I was routing for her in the pageant. Austism is big in my family (all of my siblings have it), so seeing that makes me so happy!
