Is this God’s Hand?

Sometimes, God interrupts the silence and monotony of everyday life by creating and bringing to light inexplicable works of art. This image of the “Pillars of Creation,” captured by NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope, provides a beautiful and breathtaking example of that.

Examine the image closely…it looks like a picture of God’s hand being illuminated by the ultraviolet light of neighboring stars, doesn’t it? Some may view this uncanny resemblance as a random act of nature. However, for those of us who believe in a higher power, it means so much more. It’s as if this image was created to remind us that God is in control and that He quite literally carries the whole world in His hands—that’s pretty awe-inspiring!

What do you think? Are we alone on this one?

What do you see when you look at the “Pillars of Creation”?

I wouldn’t call it “God’s hand” I’d call it, “a marvelous thing God created”.

I agree with Madddi. I don’t believe it is truly “God’s Hand”. I do believe, however, that God’s hand has created it just as He’s done with everything else. I also believe that it is yet another visual representation of His might.

I think it could be either His hand, holding up the universe, or a shepherd with his sheep. Whatever it is, it is God showing us that he is with us and very much alive!

I can’t say whether or not that is actually Gods hand. I personally don’t think it is but I do think that calling it “Gods Hand” just as a reminder of His awesome and beautiful power is a cool, inspiring thing to think about.

I don’t believe that’s God’s hand, but its amazing to look into space and see the amazing, sometimes crazy looking works of creation God has made. 🙂

Yeah, I agree with you. It looks a lot more like a shepherd and his sheep then a hand, like first of, hands have 5 fingers haha.

It does look like a shepherd with his sheep. It is also an amazing work of Creation.

Wow! These totally prove that God is truly out there and amazing. If only people would take a look at the big picture. And I don’t mean the big picture on the post.

I see what it may resemble. But I can see why Atheists think of us Christians & other religious people to be a bit “looney” seeming in our thinking sometimes.
Its not the literal hand of God, I know; but I can tell you, most likely any Atheist that clicks this article or reads the headline will shake their heads at the way we see things sometimes.
