Last week, the Jonas Brothers made a surprise visit to a Pennsylvania hospital to see a teenage girl after her cancer treatments forced her to miss out on their much-anticipated concert.
Before their concert in Hershey, Pennsylvania, the Jonas brothers dropped by the Penn State Children’s Hospital to pay 16-year-old Lily Jordan a personal visit.
The surprise visit came after Jordan realized that due to her cancer treatments she would not be able to attend her first concert.
“I’ve never been to a real concert before. I was so pumped, and then just like a week ago I kinda did the math and realized I’d be in chemo for it. I was so so bummed,” Jordan said, according to CBN News.
In a last-ditch effort to meet the Jonas brothers, Jordan took to Instagram.
“I was supposed to be at your Hershey concert tomorrow but instead I’m across the street doing chemo,” Jordan shared in a post, attached to a selfie. “If y’all wanted to pop in I’ll give you my room number.”
The post quickly went viral, gaining thousands of comments and shares.
Pennsylvania Rep. Scott Perry even shared the post, saying, “PRAYERS NEEDED!” on Facebook.
“Our good friend Lily is fighting for her life in Hershey tonight, and so badly wanted to see the Jonas Brothers tomorrow night at Hersheypark, but can’t because of her urgent treatment,” Perry wrote. “If there is anyway for them to visit her, we are lifting up her hopes and our prayers for help.”

The Instagram post worked, the Jonas brothers saw the prayer request, and hours before their concert, they surprised Jordan.

Later, Jordan updated her Instagram account, thanking everyone who had shared the post.
“Wow. The power of social media you guys. YOU did this. YOU made my crappy chemo session into something incredibly special and unforgettable,” Jordan wrote. “Literally made my life.”
