    January Book Club: “10 Ultimate Truths Girls Should Know”

    Dear Beautiful Book Club Girls,

    Welcome to 2015!

    I think it’s going to be a great year, don’t you?

    I can tell you we’re already off to a great start with this month’s Book Club selection, 10 Ultimate Truths Girls Should Know by Kari Kampakis. Kari writes for some impressive online sites and has had some of her work go viral. She’s a mom with four young daughters, and she writes a lot about the character qualities she wants to model for her girls and talk about with her girls.

    10 Ultimate Truths Girls Should Know is a great compass to point us in the right direction to have an amazing, grace-filled year where we achieve great things with God on our side. Kari’s “Ultimate Truths” include some things that are great reminders of what we know already, like “Kindness is more important than popularity” and “Chasing boys doesn’t make you cool.” (Can I get an Amen on that one?)

    But Kari also dives deeper and gives us truths like “Today’s choices set the stage for your reputation” and “People peak at different times in life. Trust God’s plan for you.” As she unpacks each of her Ultimate Truths, she gives some no-nonsense, practical advice and reminders that will help you navigate some of the more difficult waters of junior high, high school, college and even adult life.

    What you do now in your life makes a difference later, and choosing to join us in this month’s Book Club reading is an excellent investment in your future. Life can be tough, so it’s great that you are grabbing tools for your life “toolbox” now.
