Hey girls, it’s Easter! This year I wanted to share with you my favorite songs for the Easter season. Originally I was going to make this a list of worship songs, but then I realized that for me, “worship music” is more than that. In my opinion, “worship music” is any music that turns my thoughts toward God, not necessarily a particular style of music.
With that in mind, there are a few different styles of music on this list. Here we go!
- “Scandal of Grace” by Hillsong United
- “Heart Like You” by Love & The Outcome
- “Glorious” by Soulfire Revolution
- “Arise My Love” by Newsong
- “10,000 Reasons” by Rend Collective Experiment
- “Once and for All” by Disciple
- “Love Will Leave a Mark” by Red
- “Murdered Love” by P.O.D.
- “Don’t Deserve You” by Plumb
- “Beautiful Mercy” by Laura Hackett
Each of these songs reminds me not only of Christ’s sacrifice, but also of the greatness, power, love and glory of God.
That’s my Easter playlist! It’s kind of an odd mix of music, I know. I hope you found at least one song on the list that reminds you of the meaning of Easter.
