Justin Bieber Encourages His Followers to “Trust in Jesus”

There have been quite a few encouraging reports in recent months regarding Justin Bieber’s continuous, deepening faith in Christ and boldness for Him. Following a very honest and vulnerable post back in March Bieber wrote, “Just wanted to keep you guys updated a little bit hopefully what I’m going through will resonate with you guys. Been struggling a lot. Just feeling super disconnected and weird. I always bounce back so I’m not worried just wanted to reach out and ask for your guys to pray for me. God is faithful and ur prayers really work thanks .. the most human season I’ve ever been in facing my stuff head on”. Justin has been increasingly vocal for his Christian faith.

The latest example of this came three days ago when he shared with his 117 million Instagram followers two separate clips from Pastor Rich Wilkerson’s sermon this past Sunday. In the clips, Pastor Wilkerson can be heard encouraging his audience to remember that “whether you believe in God or not, He still believes in you”.

Pastor Wilkerson went on to say, “It’s not an accident or a coincidence that you showed up here. He brought you here. That is our prayer today. That you would hear from Him today, that you would hear His voice.”

Bieber’s posting of Wilkerson’s sermon and other faith-based thoughts on the internet lately are proving to be having quite an impact on his fans. One commenter on his Instagram post from Sunday responded, “I live in a Islamic country my family members are all Muslim except me…And my family don’t know that I’m not a Muslim…since the day I know Jesus. I feel some kind of Connection and I will definitely become a Christian when I get 18 years old…but right now I’m 16 and I’m afraid to inform my family about my religion…”

May you walk away from this latest report regarding Justin Bieber’s bold proclamation of his faith with the inspiration and encouragement to go out there and be bold yourself. Even if you are just posting about your faith on social media, rest assured that doing so can change lives forever! Follow Bieber’s example and be bold for Jesus wherever you are!
