I have straight-as-a-yardstick blond hair and blue eyes. One of things I’ve always felt insecure about is my hair. Although I would constantly get complements like “Oh, it’s so pretty!!” or “I want your hair color! It’s way better than mine..” I would always wish for dark brown. I would hope that one day my hair would start getting darker like a lot of blondes do.
Lately though, I’ve learned to accept my hair color and see that it’s unusual for people to have hair as light as mine is. God made me unique, and instead of complaining about it, I need to thank Him for what he’s given me. I love my denim blue eyes too.
The other person in the picture is my dad. He’s always been there for me, even when he was away for his job for a year. If I had to choose one role-model, it would definitely be my dad. I hope I can find a guy that has faith like him 🙂

P.S. What colors of eyeshadow look good with blue eyes? I’ve heard that gold works well, but I tried it and don’t like it very much. Thanks again!!

We want to show young girls how to be people of value and confidence – how to be your own best selves – through leading a Christian life. Who are we? We're a team of girls, like you. We edit the site, we post to social media, we hang out in the chat rooms and forums. We talk with you, we listen to you, and we love you!

    1. Just saying, you are beautiful, and your hair is GORGEOUS! I had blonde hair like yours until I died it, which turned out to be a terrible idea. Once you live with something your whole life, (even your hair color) you start to miss it after a while. I can’t wait to go back blonde!

P.S if you have dark blue eyes, light blues will work well
if you have bright eyes, darker colors will work better like browns, golds, dark purples, etc 😀
