Make Your Own Tenzo Green Tea Instead of Coffee

Recently, I found out about the amazing green tea called matcha green tea. It is so delicious and has many health benefits and antioxidants. For a coffee lover like me, this may sound like a shock, but it’s great to enjoy something that’s different without the high sugar and caffeine spikes. I have enjoyed the matcha green tea at Starbucks, and if you like that hot or over ice, you will enjoy your own homemade kit with Tenzo Tea.

I have the starter kit with all the goodies that they provide for you. It’s not too tough to make—you just need to boil water and add ice, if you prefer. You can either whisk or shake your tea and add regular, soy or almond milk. You can order your own box and it comes with a bottle shaker, whisk, matcha green tea mix, instructions, a spoon to mix the powder and a little bowl. To buy your starter box or to try your own DIY homemade tea, order here.

I seriously love the little whisk, cute little scooper and pottery that come with the kit. You have everything you need to make your own special matcha drinks. I prefer mine over ice, with vanilla milk (aka homemade matcha latte). Here are some sample photos of what you get in a starter kit.
