March Book Club: “Wild Grace” by Max Lucado

    Dear Beautiful Book Club Girls,

I don’t know if you’ve ever read anything by best-selling author and pastor Max Lucado, but if you haven’t, you’re in for a treat with the March Book Club selection, Wild Grace. Max has a way of story telling that makes you feel like he is sitting next to you having a conversation when you’re reading one of his books.

Most Christians know we are saved “by grace through faith,” but not many of us really stop to think about how wild grace really is. Wild Grace describes it as having  “A whitewater, riptide, turn-you-upside-downness about it.” I think that’s exactly right. Accepting God’s grace in your life is a wild adventure filled with peace even when life gets crazy, forgiveness when God has every right to be angry (or you have every right to be bitter toward someone else), and a love so big and unconditional it’s overwhelming.

We are loved like that by Jesus. In His act of giving Wild Grace to us, He gave up his own life on a cross for our sins. What a perfect choice this book is for us to dive in during the month that begins spring – a time of new life and new beginnings – and ends with Easter Sunday, the day Jesus defeated death and completed his sacrifice for our mistakes. All He wants for us to do is accept His gift, then strap in for the ride of our lives with His Wild Grace.

Please join me in reading this month’s Book Club selection, Wild Grace by Max Lucado. You can get it here, and together we’ll jump in the raft for the wild, whitewater, riptide ride of grace!

    Happy Spring, Ladies,

    Nicole
