Me Without Makeup
Written by Project Inspired | October 3, 2012
I used to be very careless about my appearance, some of my mom’s friends thought I was a boy. Ever since, I started putting on makeup and trying to look feminine. I used to put a lot of eye-liner, foundation and lip gloss. I still do sometimes but it’s always very light! When through christiannity I heard about modesty and God loving me just as I was , makeup became very superficial. Although it’s sometimes hard to think of yourself as beautiful, God made you this way and thinks you look pretty. I now understand I’d rather be an average looking person and have inner beauty than be the prettiest girl in the world and have a stone heart. Today, I go to school looking the way God made me and not the way I wish I would look like.
Every girl is beautiful and unique…
