Marion Cotillard Is Classic in Black and We Match Last Week’s Modest Favorite!

Ladies, I hope that you’re all enjoying the modest matchups! The idea is that the fun and classic modest looks are what we should emulate. In our culture, young girls are quick to copy the immodesty that is so popular on the red carpet. Sure, modesty is few and far between these days, but it does exist, and when we see it, it’s definitely worth celebrating, don’t you think?

So, let’s check out this week’s selection!

Megan-Fox

Megan Fox

I love this dress! The black and white throughout is broken into three fabric patterns, which adds a fun touch to this simple strapless look.

Here’s another simple, classic design with a fun detail at the shoulders. Is it a sleeveless or an off-the-shoulder? Actually, it’s both! And the white embroidered detail breaks up the black a tad.

Aubrey-Plaza

Aubrey Plaza

I love this look! It’s so feminine and fun, and the length is perfectly modest. I just adore the colors and the white bands that detail the waist. So cute!

Now for our modest matchup!

Maisie-Williams

Maisie Williams

Last week, Maisie Williams’ shimmery bronze dress won our Modest Is Hottest poll, so I went in search of a similar dress that could help you get her look!

I found Williams’ exact dress for over $500! Interested? I guessed not—so how about this adorable bronze dress? It shares Williams’ sleeveless top, straight skirt, as well as the shimmery effect. And I love the high waistband and detailed neckline. This is a formal dress that can be worn to any party. So, what do you think?

I like the modest matchup dress better than the original! Although I wouldn’t be allowed to wear either.

I think Aubrey’s was really beautiful, the only thing I disliked was the design, other then that loved the layout of the dress :). I also liked Megan Foxes dress it look beautiful and modest on her, it wouldn’t on me tbh:/

Eh, not feeling the love really for any of these dresses.

    1. Ehrmagerd, so may patterns. Maybe a bit too many. It’s so busy, and I wouldn’t personally wear it. But Megan looks dashing, as usual:)
    2. I guess it’s my favourite of the week? Though the sleeves kinda look peculiar. It’s like part of them were edited out of the picture. At least that’s the effect it’s giving me. :p
    3. Eh, I’ll pass. I just think the dress looks like a computer screensaver pasted on a dress to be frank.

    Modest matchup was okay though.
