What’s REALLY on Their Minds: A Message from High School Boys to You

You’ve all heard your mother, your best friend or your pastor tell you:

“You’re beautiful just the way you are. Don’t compare yourself to those women in the magazines—they’re so far from real.”

“The most attractive qualities are integrity and kindness.”

“Men really are drawn to modesty.”

But in those moments when you’re feeling insecure, downcast or even a little bit lost, you hear all of this and you can’t help but think to yourself, “Uh-huh. Sure….” Their words just roll right off of you. And we get it…we’ve been there. But what if you heard those things straight from the mouths of guys your own age? Would they start to ring a little truer to you? We have a hunch that they just might…but let’s find out, shall we?

With International Women’s Day coming up on Sunday, March 8, the timing behind this video is just perfect. Listen to the message that this group of high school boys has for every girl, and let then breathe a sweet sigh of relief.

Because boys can be foolish, but they can be pretty wonderful, too.

Lovely, aren’t they? Share your thoughts with us in the comments section below!

We edit the site, we post to social media, we hang out in the chat rooms and forums. We talk with you, we listen to you, and we love you!

    1. This actually made me tear up more than the proposal vid….a lot more, in fact.

I gotta say…. this makes me really, really hope that this isn’t just high school Christian dudes, but also extending into college…. I’m a 19 yr old freshman who plans to transfer out to one of two Christian colleges this coming fall (I’ll be 20 in June..) , and I’ve never, ever gone out w/ a guy before in my life, not really…

P.S. Sweet Aussie accents…. sorry, noticed it as soon as they all started talking 😀

    2. This was very beautiful! Thank you to those boys for their honesty!
We girls really do appreciate it and we realize that just like us, guys can struggle with themselves too! We want you to know that you are all so beautiful inside and out and we appreciate you encouraging us in our selfconscience state to realize our beauty as well.
